VP of Revenue Operations · I rebuild the revenue engine behind your B2B SaaS acquisition and retention problems, then exit once your team can run it.
I deliver the ability to win against the best in your class, and the clarity to see exactly why you do. I'm a Revenue Architect. For the last eleven of thirty-four years, I've built and rebuilt the systems B2B SaaS companies rely on to win clients and keep them, primarily in fintech, from first revenue to real scale. For the last twenty-five of those years I built these operations from the inside, as a Chief Sales Officer, a Fractional Revenue Architect, and then a Chief Revenue Officer. The whole connected system, Marketing, Sales, Success, and Support working as one, is what I call a revenue engine. I design it, put the right operators in the seats to run it, and step out once it compounds client acquisition and retention without me. Every engagement is defined-exit by design. When the systems run without me, that's the proof it worked. Founders bring me in when the product has found its market but the revenue engine won't scale with it. Venture and private-equity firms deploy me into portfolio companies for the same structural problem, and for the revenue diligence that tells them whether the engine can carry the growth thesis before the capital goes in. The record is measured in arcs, not opinions. Nine documented engagements: companies taken from zero to $2.8M, from $880K to $4.8M, from $1.5M to $12.4M. Net revenue retention of 105 to 115%. Client acquisition cost down 30 to 50%. I run this the way I'd want it run for me. I hold to two or three clients at a time, because that kind of presence can't be faked at scale. My compensation is tied to your outcome. I win only when you win. The work runs on frameworks three decades of pattern recognition produced: the Scale Sequence, three steps and five stages that produce clarity before capital is spent; the Revenue Stage Alignment Framework, which pays every revenue role on the revenue it actually moves; and Revenue Data Debt, the accumulated cost of client information lost in the seams between functions. I've setting the full architecture down in two books, Revenue Operations by Design, and Revenue Operations in the AI Era. USAF veteran. MBA, Marketing. BA, Finance. PMP. HubSpot certified.
Has run a 4-8 tool stack. Comfortable connecting CRM, sales engagement and reporting into one working system.
All work samples are shown here, whether they were added independently or as part of an engagement.
